Meet Our President & Training Director
With more than 23 years of active law enforcement experience, Song Kang leads ETC Tactical as both the Presidentand Training Director. Currently serving as a Training Sergeant for a large central Indiana agency, Song oversees firearms instruction, officer development, and tactical response programs.
As an ILETB-certified senior and psychomotor skills instructor, Song has trained hundreds of officers in pistol, rifle, shotgun, and select-fire weapon systems. His expertise also extends to active shooter response, ballistic shield deployment, dual-purpose K9 trainer, dual-purpose K9 handling, and tac medic instructor.
Under Song’s leadership, ETC Tactical has built a cadre of specialized instructors dedicated to providing dynamic, scenario-based training to officers across Indiana and beyond. His passion is helping agencies and individuals develop real-world readiness so they can respond confidently in high-stakes situations.
